During the meeting, the “working group” of the association was selected. It includes former Vice President of the Association, Abu Bakr Idris, Hassan Abdel Aziz, President of the African Federation for Construction Contractors Association, Ali Al-Sanafi, President of the Federation of Arab and Iraqi Contractors, Ayman Al-Khudairi, President of the Jordanian Constructions Contractors Association, and Muhammad Sami Saad, President of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC), Zakaria Abdel Qader, Head of the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), and Malik Dongola, in charge of the work of the Secretary-General of the Federation.

The federation aims to provide an opportunity for contracting companies in Islamic countries to undertake the implementation of major development projects financed by the IsDB, which amount to about $25 billion, which were acquired by foreign companies from countries considered outside the countries under the umbrella of the Islamic Conference. In addition to providing opportunities for companies of the countries organizing the federation, in order to benefit from the support provided by the Private Sector Support Corporation, an IsDB susidiary that aims to promote the private sector in these countries.
