Director General of the Jordan Museum Ihab Amarin, on Sunday met with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Regional Director for Middle East, Basmah Al-Mayman, and UNWTO Coordinator, Mirhan Abdel Fattah.
Amarin briefed the delegation on the Jordan Museum, its establishment, the royal vision of its establishment, it’s role in preserving the Jordanian heritage through the ages and its position as a gateway to Jordanian tourism.
Amarin and the delegation discussed the importance of museums and their positioning in tourism programs as a tourist gateway to visitor’s and their role in telling the story of the place and preserving the heritage to present it to future generations.
The delegation toured the museum’s various exhibitions and expressed its admiration for the museum’sadvanced level.
