Jordan imported over 21,000 smart watches in 2022-Stakeholder

Amman: Head of the Association for Mobile Investors (Vision), Ahmad Alloush, said Jordan’s merchants imported more than 21,000 smart watches in 2022, at a value of about JD1.7 million.

Alloush, in a statement to “Petra” on Saturday, noted value of imported smart watches declined during 2022 by up to 55%, compared to the 2021, attributing this drop to the decreasing purchasing power.

Smart watches are sold at diverse prices according to their types, especially since their use in recent years has witnessed a “clear” growth, he pointed out.
