Jordan Government Service Centers Process Over Six Million Transactions Through July

Amman: Jordan's government service centers have processed a total of 6,237,377 transactions by the end of July, reflecting their expanding role in facilitating public access to government services across the Kingdom. The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship has been pivotal in this expansion, with the number of centers now totaling 16, strategically distributed across various governorates.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry's latest addition is the sixteenth government service center, inaugurated at the King Hussein Business Park. This center offers 163 services from 26 government institutions, furthering the ministry's efforts to implement the public sector modernization roadmap and the Economic Modernization Vision. The first of these centers was established in Amman's Muqabaleen area and currently provides 177 services through 28 institutions.

The service centers have been designed to enhance efficiency, with an average waiting time of 5 to 10 minutes and a service delivery time ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Smirat, highlighted the importance of these centers in delivering integrated services to citizens, consolidating various government services into a single facility. This approach aims to reduce the time, effort, and cost for recipients, aligning with the government's directives to improve service efficiency and accessibility.

Smirat also emphasized the centers' extended service hours, which provide greater flexibility for visitors. The centers continuously measure and survey customer satisfaction to improve service delivery and elevate the citizen experience, in line with the government's goal to strengthen the efficiency of public services.
