Jordan Floats Tender to Purchase Major Barley Quantity

Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, Jordan’s state grain buyer, has issued a tender to purchase 100,000 or 120,000 tonnes of barley.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry announced on Thursday that potential traders are invited to obtain a copy of the tender documents for a non-refundable fee of JD650. The deadline for accepting bids is set for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6.

For those interested in bidding, it is mandatory to present copies of a valid professional license, a commercial register certified no more than 30 days prior to the tender opening date, and a valid registration with a Jordanian chamber of commerce.
