Jordan Field Hospital Continues Services Amidst Challenges in Southern Gaza

Gaza: The Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/7 Monday continued medical services to the wounded and sick people in the south of the Strip. Since its mission began on July 17, medical staff at the field hospital have treated 22,961 patients and performed 462 major and minor surgeries, including wounds and burns, shrapnel removal, neurosurgery, complex fractures, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, and vascular and arterial surgery.

According to Jordan News Agency, the field hospital continues to fulfill its crucial role amid the challenging circumstances facing the Gaza Strip, where there is a severe shortage of medical supplies in hospitals. Since its deployment on November 20, 2023, the field hospital has provided medical care to 374,449 patients, demonstrating its significant contribution to addressing the healthcare needs in the region.
