Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon Discuss Youth Programs and Sports Governance Cooperation

Cairo: Minister of Youth Raed Adwan met with his Egyptian counterpart Ashraf Sobhy and Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports Nour Bayraqdarian to discuss cooperation in managing youth programs, sports centers, facilities, and club governance. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports meetings.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions reviewed the challenges facing Arab youth and explored ways to enhance joint Arab action to address them. Minister Adwan highlighted the significance of developing Arab youth work mechanisms to meet the needs of young people and increase their participation in development. He emphasized Jordan's commitment to exchanging successful experiences and developing joint programs that align with youth aspirations, empowering them across political, economic, social, cultural, and sports sectors.

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen trilateral cooperation through the development of joint Arab youth programs. These programs aim to build capacity and transform shared challenges into sustainable development opportunities for Arab societies. During the meeting, Adwan was briefed on Egypt's experience in managing youth and sports facilities and club governance.

Together with his Egyptian and Lebanese counterparts, Minister Adwan toured the Egyptian ministry's building in the New Administrative Capital to observe the latest technological and administrative capabilities. The tour included visits to "Nadi" Club and the First Settlement Youth Center. The delegation reviewed sports and recreational services offered to the community, as well as programs promoting sports culture and a healthy environment for various age groups.
