Amman: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in partnership with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, has sent a new humanitarian aid convoy to Syria. The convoy includes 32 mobile housing units as part of Jordan's continuous relief operations.
According to Jordan News Agency, JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli stated that the convoy consists of 16 trucks carrying the mobile housing units, representing Jordan's persistent humanitarian backing for the Syrian populace.
Shibli emphasized that the convoy is a testament to Jordan's enduring commitment to providing structured humanitarian aid to the most affected communities and regions within Syria.
He further explained that Jordan, in collaboration with its partners, has consistently dispatched relief convoys with various supplies, including food, medicines, medical equipment, flour, food parcels, ambulances, and mobile housing units.
The ongoing aid efforts highlight Jordan's dedication to humanitarian causes, focusing not only on emergency relief but also on bolstering recovery initiatives and promoting stability in Syria.
Since December 2024, Jordan has organized 23 humanitarian aid convoys to Syria, deploying a total of 1,072 trucks to meet humanitarian needs and support the Syrian citizens.
