Amman: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces, dispatched an aid convoy to Syria. This initiative was supported by Hungary's Hungarian Agency for Aid and the Helping Hand Relief and Development Organisation.
According to Jordan News Agency, JHCO announced that the convoy consisted of 21 trucks loaded with residential caravans and food supplies. This effort is part of ongoing collaborative humanitarian initiatives aimed at addressing the basic needs of affected families. It highlights Jordan's humanitarian commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to support those in crisis.
The organisation expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by Hungary and the Helping Hand organisation, emphasizing that this collaboration exemplifies the principles of international solidarity and cooperative humanitarian efforts.
Further, JHCO stated that Jordan, in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces, remains a vital regional hub for humanitarian aid. The country leverages its expertise and logistical capabilities to mitigate human suffering and promote social stability.
