Jordan Dispatches 50-Truck Humanitarian Convoy to Northern Gaza Amid Ongoing Crisis

Amman: In a continued show of solidarity with the people of Gaza, Jordan has dispatched a humanitarian convoy of 50 trucks loaded with essential food supplies to the northern part of the enclave, where hunger and supply chain breakdowns have reached critical levels.

According to Jordan News Agency, the relief effort, coordinated by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the World Food Programme (WFP), comes as part of a sustained emergency response to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Northern Gaza, in particular, has been facing dire shortages of food and basic necessities amid ongoing disruptions in aid delivery. This latest convoy is a continuation of Jordan’s unwavering support, which has been in place since the early days of the crisis.

JHCO stated that the aid is being distributed according to a targeted emergency plan, designed to ensure that the most vulnerable families receive timely assistance. Local partners in Gaza are working on the ground to help coordinate and manage the delivery.

The organization reaffirmed Jordan’s long-standing commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, highlighting that efforts will continue to ease their suffering and reinforce their resilience during these difficult times.
