Jordan condemns Israel’s decision to allow ‘flag march’

Jordan’s foreign ministry inveighed against the Israeli authorities’ decision to allow the “provocative and escalatory” “flag march” in occupied Jerusalem Tuesday.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Daifallah Fayez condemned the Israeli decision to allow the march and the Israeli police assault on the Palestinians, reiterating “they are escalatory behaviours that are utterly rejected and condemned…”

Fayez held the Israeli authorities responsible for Tuesday’s escalation and urged them to stop the “provocations and violations” and respect the “legal and historical” situation in Jerusalem.
