Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Sunday carried out seven airdrop operations to deliver essential aid to Gaza. This initiative was executed in partnership with several countries, aligning with Jordan’s continuous efforts to support Palestinians in the region.
According to Jordan News Agency, the recent operations utilized two aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, along with planes from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, France, and Belgium. These collaborative efforts resulted in the delivery of 61 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as part of a broader international strategy to enhance the humanitarian response in the Strip.
Since the onset of the conflict in Gaza, the JAF has successfully conducted 421 airdrop missions, including 284 joint operations with other nations. These missions have collectively delivered nearly 262 tonnes of aid since resuming operations last week.
