Amman: Minister of Transport Nidal Qatamin engaged in discussions with British Charg© d’Affaires Hazel Mowbray to explore the potential for enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the UK in the transport sector. The talks focused on the possibility of the UK providing support and facilities to advance key areas, particularly public transport and logistics.
According to Jordan News Agency, Mowbray committed her country’s support through the International Growth Centre (IGC), an economic research center based at the London School of Economics. This support will be coordinated with Jordan’s Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to prioritize projects in the transport sector.
Both parties agreed to maintain technical and institutional cooperation to achieve transport development goals and strengthen the partnership between Jordan and the UK.
