Amman: Minister of Agriculture Saeb Khreisat and Tunisian Ambassador Mufida Zaribi discussed strengthening agricultural cooperation between the two countries, according to a ministry statement issued on Thursday. The talks focused on advancing joint cooperation to ensure the smooth flow of agricultural goods and products, and enhancing the exchange of scientific and technical expertise, particularly in agricultural research and modern technologies.
According to Jordan News Agency, the two sides also explored cooperation under joint European Union projects, increasing bilateral agricultural trade, and encouraging investment in modern agriculture and food processing. These efforts aim to support food security and enhance the strategic partnership between Jordan and Tunisia.
Khreisat emphasized the depth of Jordanian-Tunisian ties across various fields. Ambassador Zaribi expressed appreciation for the current cooperation level, reaffirming Tunisia's commitment to broadening the partnership and promoting expertise-sharing to support mutual interests.
