Jordan and South Korea Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Tensions

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and South Korean Foreign Affairs Minister Cho Hyun held a telephone conversation on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministers emphasized the strong relations between Jordan and South Korea, expressing a mutual commitment to expanding cooperation in sectors of shared interest. Their dialogue focused on reviewing developments in the region and exploring efforts to de-escalate tensions, specifically highlighting the prospects for a U.S.-Iran agreement aimed at achieving a comprehensive solution to restore calm, security, and stability.

The conversation concluded with an agreement to maintain coordination and consultation between the two countries. The ministers pledged to continue working together to advance cooperation and address regional and international issues of common interest.
