Jordan and Lebanon’s Foreign Ministers Call for Ceasefire Adherence

Amman: Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi and Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Rajai held a phone conversation on Saturday to discuss developments in Lebanon and bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi and Rajai emphasized the importance of fully implementing the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, highlighting the necessity for strict adherence to all its provisions. Safadi expressed Jordan’s unwavering solidarity with Lebanon amidst ongoing Israeli attacks and underscored the importance of upholding international and humanitarian laws, as well as Security Council Resolution 1701. He also called for immediate international intervention to stop the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
