Jordan and Czech Republic Explore Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

Amman: Jordan's Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee convened on Monday with Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Kucerova to discuss prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation. Head of the committee, MP Haitham Ziadin, emphasized the strong ties between Jordan and the Czech Republic, advocating for the expansion of existing partnerships through parliamentary exchanges to foster cooperation and serve mutual interests.

According to Jordan News Agency, Ziadin highlighted the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in facilitating dialogue on common issues amidst regional and international challenges. He also advocated for increased collaboration in the tourism and education sectors, and suggested that the upcoming European investment conference in April could be a platform to enhance investment opportunities.

Ambassador Kucerova expressed the Czech Republic's appreciation for its close relationship with Jordan, expressing a keen interest in expanding collaboration across various fields, including economic, educational, tourism, digital, and cybersecurity sectors. She also emphasized the importance of coordination on regional and international issues to strengthen relations and promote security and stability, while commending Jordan's advancements in technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
