JMD expects fair autumn weather for three days

Temperatures on Monday are expected to be few degrees higher than the seasonal average, with fair autumn weather prevailing in the highlands and the plains, and hot conditions in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to appear, mainly in the southern part of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust at times in the Badia areas, the JMD added.

Similar weather conditions will persist on Tuesday and Wednesday, with northwesterly moderate to active winds, the JMD predicted.

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 18C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 40C, sliding to 26C at night.
