JHCO Launches “Development Partners” Pilot in Karak

Karak: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) held a new meeting on Wednesday as part of the pilot phase of the "Development Partners" initiative in the Karak Governorate. The session brought together 14 women-led associations and stakeholders involved in community and developmental work.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting is part of a broader series conducted by JHCO across various governorates to strengthen partnerships with local organizations, assess their developmental needs, and link them to JHCO's support and empowerment programs. JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli stated that the initiative reflects the organization's commitment to building sustainable partnerships with women's associations. He emphasized their crucial role in reaching the most vulnerable groups and creating a direct economic and social impact within local communities.

The event featured interactive sessions where participating associations outlined their primary challenges and needs. Discussions also explored potential collaboration in economic empowerment, psychosocial support, and institutional capacity building.

The "Development Partners" initiative seeks to establish a national network of women's associations, foster sustainable development projects, and enhance the capabilities of local organizations across governorates.
