JFDA seizes 4,500 fake chocolate jars

The Jordan Food and Drug Administration’s (JFDA) inspection teams have seized 4,500 fake chocolate jars, that were copied from a famous brand, and 150 kilograms of raw materials.

JFDA Director-General Nizar Mheidat said in a statement on Monday the product was caught at an unlicensed workshop in an apartment, before being distributed and circulated in markets.

“The JFDA turned the workshop’s owner to the concerned authorities for legal actions,” he added.
