JFDA Intensifies Inspections on High-Risk Food Establishments Due to Rising Temperatures

Amman: Director General of Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), Dr. Nizar Mheidat announced that the regulatory body’s monitoring and inspection teams will increase their campaigns on “high-risk” food establishments due to the weather conditions, as rising temperatures are forecast nationwide this month.

According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Mheidat, in a statement released on Thursday, urged Jordan’s food entities to adhere to “the highest” food safety standards. He emphasized the need for these establishments to follow health requirements and proper storage practices to ensure product safety and suitability for consumption.

To address any violations and ensure public safety, the JFDA also encouraged citizens to report any complaints, observations, or inquiries through various channels.
