Jerusalem Anglican Bishop Condemns Terrorist Attack on Karak Church

Karak:Jerusalem The Bishop Coadjutor of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, Bishop Hosam Naoum, has condemned the recent terrorist attack targeting the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George in Hamoud town, located in Karak Governorate.

According to Jordan News Agency, Bishop Naoum stated that the attack represents a violation of the sanctity of worship, the sacredness of human life, and the human dignity bestowed by God upon every individual.

He emphasized that the attack on peaceful worshippers is an assault on the society's security and unity, as well as on the values of fraternity and coexistence that are characteristic of Jordan.

Bishop Naoum also affirmed that this crime will not undermine the unity of the Jordanian people, nor the cohesion of their national fabric, nor sow fear or division among the citizens of the same nation.

He noted that Christians and Muslims in Jordan are partners in the land, history, and citizenship, bound together by ties of brotherhood and mutual respect.
