Amman: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the completion of the dues disbursement for eligible students receiving scholarships or loans from the Student Support Fund (STF) for the academic year 2024-2025, totaling JD5 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, the payments covered the amounts for candidate students to receive partial scholarships or loans for the Bachelor’s stage, equivalent to 45 credit hours. To benefit from this procedure, students were required to have paid their fees for the second and summer semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year in cash at the University of Jordan and Al al-Bayt University.
The disbursement also included Bachelor’s beneficiaries who paid fees for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The ministry highlighted the involvement of various universities, including the University of Jordan, the University of Jordan/Aqaba Branch, the University of Science and Technology, the Hashemite University, Tafila Technical University, and Balqa Applied University.
Additionally, the ministry stated that the same procedure was applied to other public universities across the country. For the intermediate diploma stage, benefits were provided to eligible students nominated for partial scholarships, who completed 45 credit hours and paid fees for the second semester of 2024-2025 at Tafila Technical University, Al-Balqa Applied University, and its colleges.
