Amman, A total of 118 companies have been listed on the Jordan Customs Department’s (JCD) Golden List, a program that rewards enterprises adhering to its requirements, since its launch in 2005.
According to a JCD statement issued Wednesday, six companies were listed in 2022. It added that the new companies were chosen after a committee inspected their adherence to customs legislation, safety requirements, and foreign trade import-related systems.
Director General of JCD Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah said the program offers facilities and privileges, operating based on risk management principles, voluntary compliance to work requirements, and international safety standards.
