JCC 1st VP, Georgian consul discuss economic ties

The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), first vice president, Jamal Rifai, met with Consul of the Georgian Embassy, Ferdinand Tavadze, on aspects of economic cooperation between the two countries.

Rifai stressed the importance of exchanging information between the two parties, to identify sectors that characterize the two countries, in order to focus on them to increase the volume of trade exchange, which is modest compared to commercial transactions with other countries.

For his part, the Georgian consul called for holding a meeting between Jordanian businessmen and their Georgian counterparts.

The volume of trade exchange with Georgia amounted to $6.45 million in 2022 Q1.
