Amman: President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), Hamdi Tabbaa, engaged in discussions with Jordanian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Haitham Abu AlFoul, focusing on enhancing trade exchanges and establishing joint investment initiatives between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The primary sectors targeted for these collaborations include technology, tourism, industry, and logistics.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting took place at the JBA’s headquarters, where Tabbaa emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between the private sectors of both nations. This collaboration is seen as crucial for opening new markets for Jordanian products and increasing mutual investments. Saudi Arabia remains a significant export market for Jordan, and the strong economic ties between the two countries provide a solid base for further cooperation in trade and investment.
Tabbaa highlighted JBA’s objective to strengthen partnerships with Saudi economic entities by facilitating trade delegations and cultivating strategic relations. These efforts are expected to stimulate economic activities and create new opportunities for investors from both countries.
Ambassador Abu AlFoul praised JBA’s role in fostering bilateral economic relations and reiterated the embassy’s commitment to fully support Jordanian businessmen and investors entering the Saudi market. He underscored the embassy’s future role in easing the operations of Jordan’s private sector in Saudi Arabia, ensuring necessary support to enhance its economic presence.
Furthermore, Abu AlFoul emphasized the need for activating direct communication channels with private sector institutions to achieve more effective bilateral cooperation.
