Amman: For the third consecutive week, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army continues to deliver Ramadan food packages to underprivileged families across the Kingdom. The parcels contain basic food and supplies and are distributed in coordination with charitable societies and youth organizations to alleviate the beneficiaries’ economic burdens.
According to Jordan News Agency, the effort is part of the JAF’s developmental and solidarity role to assist citizens during the holy month of Ramadan. In addition to food packages, the JAF operates two mobile bakeries in the Kingdom’s northern and southern governorates. These bakeries produce bread daily throughout the holy month as part of a Royal initiative aimed at reaching impoverished families in the target areas.
The JAF is also set to distribute Eid El-Fitr desserts to thousands of needy families next week, in an effort to share in Eid celebrations.
