Jaber: An average 1,500 trucks make it through the Jaber border crossing with Syria daily in both directions.
According to Jordan News Agency, Sarhid stated in an interview with Petra that Jaber customs authorities are working at full capacity to facilitate trade flow, which has grown since the beginning of the year. The border post has experienced recurring congestions due to a rise in truck numbers.
Streamlining customs and security procedures is expected to cut time and help complete transactions in record time despite the increase in commercial activity.
