Amman: Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman stated that the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) is the entity authorized to issue a tender to three specialized companies for waste collection, recycling, and environmentally safe disposal, as part of its role in implementing the executive program to reduce random waste dumping.
According to Jordan News Agency, the minister emphasized that the ministry's role focuses on setting public policies and environmental oversight. This involves coordination with relevant authorities to enhance the sustainable waste management system.
