Jerusalem: Israeli extremist settlers on Thursday stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli occupation police.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Jerusalem Islamic Awqaf Department reported that groups of ultra-orthodox settlers entered the compound through the Al Magharbeh gate. They conducted suspicious tours across its courtyards and performed provocative Talmudic rituals under tight police escort.
In parallel developments in the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces executed multiple incursions across several areas. They raided and searched Palestinian homes, leading to the arrest of 14 individuals.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society noted that the arrest campaign also targeted foreign solidarity activists near Ramallah.
