Israeli forces Friday cracked down on Palestinian demonstrators in the Gaza Strip and injured several after they had used tear gas and shot at the demonstrators.
The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that two injured had been shot by the Israeli forces during demonstrations near the separation fence in the northern Gaza Strip. One of the wounded is in critical condition.
Palestinian sources said a civilian was wounded by Israeli forces east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
They reported that several demonstrators suffocated after the Israeli soldiers fired dozens of tear gas canisters east of Khan Yunis.
