Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces on Monday searched homes and arrested 20 Palestinians during raids across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club. It said in a statement that troops detained the "wanted" people as they stormed dozens of homes in a number of towns and villages, and held people for hours for questioning.
According to Jordan News Agency, Jewish settlers also burned down a house and two tents, damaged three vehicles, and assaulted residents in the village of Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank. Head of the local council, Yaqoub Awais, reported that the settlers assaulted people, resulting in two individuals requiring hospitalization.
