Israeli Forces Arrest 19 Palestinians in West Bank Raids

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces on Sunday launched a wide-scale campaign of raids and arrests across several areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Society stated that Israeli forces carried out incursions in the cities of Jenin, Salfit, Ramallah, al-Bireh, Nablus, and Tulkarm. During these operations, 19 Palestinians were arrested on allegations that they were wanted by the occupation authorities.

In a related development, Israeli settlers entered the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque / al-Haram al-Sharif in occupied Jerusalem under protection from Israeli occupation police. The Jerusalem Islamic Awqaf Department reported that dozens of settlers accessed the Al Aqsa compound in groups via the Maghariba Gate. They conducted tours and performed Talmudic rituals, while occupation police enforced strict security measures and restricted worshipers from entering the mosque to facilitate the settlers' activities.
