Israeli court extends arrest of two Jordanians

An Israeli court on Tuesday extended until Thursday the arrest of two Jordanian detainees, who were recently arrested by Israeli occupation authorities while they were trying to infiltrate from northern Jordan into Palestinian territories.

The Haifa Military Court extended the arrest of Khalifa Al-Anouz and Musab Al-Da’jah, who come from the town of Safa in the northern governorate of Irbid, under the pretext of “completing the investigation with them,” the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a statement.

The court, according to the statement, charged the Jordanian young men “with illegal entry, and denied them the right to have a lawyer present on their behalf.”
