Israeli attacks on Khan Yunis claim dozens of lives, including children

Amman: In the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured during the early hours of Monday, marking the 108th day of the war.

Medical sources confirmed that the death toll in the Israeli bombings targeting the city of Khan Yunis, located in the southern part of the Strip, has risen to 10, with the majority of the victims being children. Numerous others sustained injuries.

Furthermore, three Palestinians, including a child, lost their lives as a result of Israeli airstrikes on various areas in Khan Yunis.

Additionally, Palestinian civilians were injured when an occupied aircraft targeted a house in the coastal Al-Mawasi area, situated west of Khan Yunis.

An apartment in a residential building in the Austrian neighborhood, adjacent to the Nasser complex in western Khan Yunis, was also bombed, resulting in a fire outbreak.

Israeli warplanes intensified their raids, accompanied by artillery shelling and gunfire, in the southern and western neighborhoods of the
Nasser Complex in Khan Yunis.

Moreover, Israeli occupation planes struck Gaza’s eastern neighborhoods of Tuffah and Al-Daraj.

The toll of this ongoing aggression remains devastating, with the number of martyrs since the commencement of the war on the Gaza Strip on the seventh of October last year reaching approximately 25,105, while the number of injured stands at 62,681. The majority of these casualties are women and children.

Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, making rescue operations challenging, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
