Beirut: Eleven people were killed and five others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon since Saturday afternoon, according to a source at the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
According to Jordan News Agency, the casualties occurred in strikes targeting the towns of Kawthariyat al-Ruz, Aishiya, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Shoukin, Mayfadoun, Nabatieh, and Jouya. The Lebanese Ministry of Health provided these details in a recent statement.
The ministry added that the total number of Lebanese killed since March 2 has risen to 1,189, while the number of injured has reached 3,427.
