Gaza: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Wednesday that 123 Palestinians were killed and 437 were injured in a series of ongoing Israeli bombings and airstrikes within the past 24 hours. The ministry highlighted the dire situation with many victims still trapped under rubble or lying on roads, as rescue teams face significant challenges in reaching them.
According to Jordan News Agency, the recent casualties have increased the total death toll since October 7, 2023, to 61,722, with 154,525 individuals injured. The ministry’s update further detailed that among the fatalities in the past day, 21 individuals were killed and 185 were injured while attempting to seek aid. This tragic development has brought the total number of “bread martyrs” to 1,859, with the injured count surpassing 13,594.
