Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that two people were killed and several injured in Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and southern Lebanon. The ministry’s emergency centre stated that an Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut killed one and injured 21. Another person was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
According to Jordan News Agency, a Lebanese source reported that towns east of Tyre have been experiencing intensive Israeli drone overflights, which extend into the airspace of towns in the western sector. The source added that an Israeli drone was flying at low altitude over the city of Hermel.
