Israeli airstrike on southern towns kills 2 Lebanese

Two Lebanese were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday on the town of Haris in the south, while airstrikes were recorded on the towns of Hanin, Shebaa and Habariya.

The Israeli warplanes renewed violent airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Tuesday evening, targeting in particular the areas of Lailaki and Haret Hreik, causing serious material damage.

A Lebanese security source told Petra’s correspondent in Beirut that “the the airstrikes coincided with the news that about 40 bodies were recovered from under the rubble of a building, which are for Hezbollah members who were killed in a previous airstrikes about 10 days ago, including a senior Hezbollah official.”

He added that “four people were wounded in a raid on the town of Nabi Sheet in the Bekaa Valley.”
