Beirut: The Israeli army struck southern Lebanon on Wednesday evening, targeting homes and infrastructure in several towns in the Bint Jbeil district.
According to Jordan News Agency, a Lebanese security source reported that the bombings hit the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Ramyeh, Hanin, Marouhin, al-Dhahirah, Maroun al-Ras, and Yaroun. An Israeli reconnaissance plane was observed flying over Beirut and its suburbs, while an Israeli drone was seen over Wadi Frun – Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, following a foot patrol by French peacekeepers.
The source noted that twenty-five Israeli military vehicles were seen advancing from the Metula settlement toward the border town of Kfar Kila before halting at Tal al-Nahhas. Artillery shelling and Israeli forces conducting combing operations were also reported in the Burj Matlin area, on the northern outskirts of Kfar Shouba.
