Baku:Irbid National University and Baku Eurasian University have entered into a memorandum of understanding to enhance academic and research cooperation. The agreement includes provisions for student and faculty exchanges, as well as collaborative research and academic programs.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was finalized during the third International Conference on "Knowledge Integration Between Applied and Human Sciences for Sustainable Development and Addressing Digital Transformation Challenges," hosted by Baku Eurasian University.
The memorandum outlines several areas of cooperation. These include exchanges of faculty, staff, and students, joint research and publication efforts, capacity-building and training programs, participation in academic conferences and seminars, and the exchange of scientific materials and information. Furthermore, it encompasses joint supervision of graduate students, short-term academic programs, and collaborative applications for research proposals and projects. The agreement also aims to implement initiatives of mutual interest and develop new areas of academic and scientific cooperation.
Rector Majed Abu Zureiq of Irbid National University emphasized that this agreement is a step towards expanding the university's international academic partnerships. It aims to create opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint research, and participation in scientific events, thereby enhancing the university's regional and international presence.
Rector Qasimov Siyavush of Baku Eurasian University highlighted the anticipation of developing academic and research ties with Irbid National University. He pointed out that the memorandum would facilitate joint initiatives and programs, thereby broadening scientific and knowledge exchange among faculty, students, and researchers.
This partnership is part of Irbid National University's ongoing efforts to broaden its international collaborations and support innovation and research development.
