Irbid: The Irbid Chamber of Commerce has delivered a shipment of humanitarian aid to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) intended for Palestinians in Gaza. This initiative is part of the "Relief for Gaza" campaign.
According to Jordan News Agency, Chamber President Mohammad Shouha announced that the shipment includes essential items such as an electricity generator and clothing. The aid is supported by Al-Farooq Charity Association and Mohammad Turki Al-Batayneh Commercial Group.
The aid shipment is part of collaborative efforts between the commercial sector and civil society institutions aiming to bolster humanitarian and relief initiatives. Shouha emphasized that the "Relief for Gaza" campaign, initiated by the chamber at the beginning of the humanitarian crisis in the region, underscores the chamber's commitment to its humanitarian and social responsibilities. The campaign is aligned with the Kingdom's ongoing support for the Palestinian cause, aiming to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians.
Shouha confirmed the chamber's ongoing commitment to the campaign, highlighting the coordination with both official and civil entities, as well as the JHCO, to ensure that the aid reaches its intended recipients and helps ease the hardships faced by Palestinian Gazans.
