Amman: The 17th edition of the International Hashemite Competition for Holy Qur’an Memorization and Recital for Women is scheduled to kick off next Saturday, Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places announced.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry’s spokesperson, Ali Daqamseh, said the competition will run through Thursday, March 9, and winners will receive awards in a ceremony held on this occasion.
