Interior Minister Highlights Coordination and Institutional Work in Madaba Visit

Madaba: Interior Minister Mazen Faraya visited Madaba to meet with the Security Council and the Chair of the Madaba Municipal Committee, in the presence of Madaba Governor Hassan Jbour and administrative governors. Faraya emphasized the importance of preparedness and coordination among executive councils, municipal committees, and provincial council committees.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Minister called for enhanced cooperation and effective coordination among all stakeholders to deliver high-quality services to residents. He stressed the importance of supporting municipal committees and provincial councils, enabling them to fulfill their duties until permanent councils are elected.

Faraya highlighted the significance of productive performance and diligent work by municipal committees, encouraging them to learn from successful experiences of other municipalities. He urged the implementation and evaluation of existing projects to ensure they serve the public interest effectively.

The Minister emphasized the necessity of regular institutional work in establishing public order, assuring citizens of their right to receive public services. He called for tangible results that reflect effective institutional work across various service and public sectors.

Madaba Governor and members of the Security Council provided a briefing on the cooperation among different agencies in Madaba, all committed to enhancing services and maintaining the rule of law. The Chair of the Madaba Municipal Committee shared insights into the municipality’s current conditions and development plans.

During his visit, Faraya also toured the Civil Status and Passports Directorate in Madaba, interacting with service users and employees to address their concerns. He reviewed the progress of the new Madaba Governorate building under construction.
