Interior minister conveys King’s greetings to Palestinian president

Interior Minister Mazin Faraieh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during a meeting in Ramallah.

 

During the meeting, the minister stressed Jordan’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation with the Palestinian side in a way that serves the common interests of both countries.

 

Faraieh also met with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh and Palestinian Interior Minister Ziad Hab al-Reeh, in the presence of Jordan’s Ambassador to Palestine Issam Bdour.

 

Faraieh and his Palestinian counterpart signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the fight against crime.

 

Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, continues to harness all its capabilities to achieve justice for the Palestinian cause and alleviate the burdens and difficulties experienced by the brotherly Palestinian people until they achieve all their legitimate rights, Faraieh stressed.

 

For his part, Hab al-Reeh stressed the importance of the partnership between the two leaderships and the two brotherly peoples to face common challenges, pointing out that signing the MoU with the Jordan comes in the context of strengthening bilateral ties and serving the common interests.
