Baghdad: Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Khaled Najm held discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the industrial sector. These discussions occurred during the Arab Economic and Social Council meetings, which concluded in Baghdad on Tuesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Qudah stressed the importance of accelerating efforts to enhance bilateral trade, addressing existing challenges, and encouraging private sector initiatives. He highlighted the potential for both countries to establish joint investment projects by leveraging available opportunities in Jordan and Iraq.
The two ministers also reviewed the progress of the joint economic city project. They underscored the significance of attracting a developer to hasten its implementation and ensure its timely development, aiming to maximize mutual opportunities and cooperation across various sectors.
