Baku:The Social Security Corporation (SSC) has announced that the number of actively insured individuals rose to over 1,705,000 in October. This growth is attributed to recently implemented measures, including the inclusion of workers hired under the "Additional Education" system and new employees in the private education sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC is committed to expanding the base of insured individuals under the Social Security Law. This includes enhancing access to insurance protection for eligible groups through ongoing efforts such as expanded electronic integration with relevant entities and using government data to identify insurable workers.
The SSC highlighted its dedication to ensuring comprehensive insurance coverage, stating that expanding the base of active insured individuals is a priority. This expansion is seen as crucial for enhancing social protection for workers and maintaining the principle of insuring all groups under the Social Security Law.
Furthermore, the SSC plans to continue implementing measures and initiatives aimed at broadening insurance coverage and improving the efficiency of its regulatory and electronic procedures. These efforts are directed at reaching uncovered workers and ensuring greater equity in the application of the Social Security Law.
