The Board of Iftaa’, Research and Islamic Studies, affiliated with the Kingdom’s General Iftaa’ Department, on Wednesday held a session on zakat al-Fitr.
In the meeting, the council decided to set the minimum amount of zakat al-Fitr for this year at 180 piasters, and a person may pay more if he wishes to.
