Amman: Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Saturday urged continued empowerment of women across various sectors to expand participation in decision-making and engagement in the development and modernization scheme.
According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi extended his congratulations to Jordanian women on International Women’s Day, highlighting their contributions, sacrifices, and vital role in societal progress. He acknowledged their impact as both workers and housewives, expressing appreciation and pride in the mothers of the martyrs of the armed forces and security services who died defending the country.
Safadi also took the opportunity to salute Palestinian women and mothers, emphasizing their strength and resilience.
