Amman:Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives, Dr. Ibrahim Tarawneh, has declared that the recent terrorist attack targeting a member of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) in Amman will only strengthen Jordan's resilience and unity. He emphasized that the nation's security and stability are non-negotiable.
According to Jordan News Agency, Dr. Tarawneh, speaking on behalf of the Lower House, affirmed that such criminal acts would not deter the resolve of the Jordanian people. He paid tribute to the fallen hero of the PSD, acknowledging the sacrifices made by Jordanian security forces to protect the country.
Dr. Tarawneh expressed his condolences to the martyr's family and colleagues, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured officer. He reaffirmed the nation's commitment to supporting the Arab Army and security services in combating terrorism and safeguarding Jordan's security.
He further stated that terrorism knows no religion, highlighting that attacks on places of worship and innocent civilians affect both Muslims and Christians. Dr. Tarawneh stressed that the unity and cohesion of the Jordanian people act as a formidable defense against terrorism.
